Ok, ok, get your head out of the gutter - we’re talking about the tongue-numbing, red-hot candy balls you got at the penny candy store as a kid.
Each Fireball begins with a single grain of sugar, and then the candy is whirled with additional sugar until it reaches its perfect size. You’ve all been there. You know what I’m talking about. That place you end up when nothing is going right and it seems like the entire world is shitting on you. You all know where you turn. You might say you turn to your friends, or even to psychiatric help, but you know where you end up, right where we all do, in your refrigerator.
I’m not here to help you fix your problems, or to help you find other stress relieving outlets. Instead, I’m going to share with you my favorite stress foods and why, in the hopes that the next time you’re stressed at least your tummy will be happy! Read the rest of this entry »

I made the cutest cupcakes last night, and took forever frosting them and placing the same amount of M&M’s, alternating colors, on each delicate cupcake. However, all good things come to an end I’m told.
I put my cupcakes ever so carefully in my giant Mary Poppins style purse and took a short trip on the T, only to remove the muffin tin to find twelve naked cupcakes - how embarrassing! More… Read the rest of this entry »

When was the last time you can remember going to the circus and begging your mom and dad for that sweet and sticky fluffy ball of sugar and mixed coloring. In America, we call it cotton candy, and in England it’s called candy floss or fairy floss. Whatever name you call it, it’s sure to make that inner child in all of us happy and your dentist!
