Ok, ok, get your head out of the gutter - we’re talking about the tongue-numbing, red-hot candy balls you got at the penny candy store as a kid.
Each Fireball begins with a single grain of sugar, and then the candy is whirled with additional sugar until it reaches its perfect size. Surprisingly, 720,000 Atomic Fireballs can be packaged daily, and each truckload shipped from the factory holds 2 million Atomic Fireballs. That’s a whole lotta hot! Read the rest of this entry »

You’ve all been there. You know what I’m talking about. That place you end up when nothing is going right and it seems like the entire world is shitting on you. You all know where you turn. You might say you turn to your friends, or even to psychiatric help, but you know where you end up, right where we all do, in your refrigerator.
I’m not here to help you fix your problems, or to help you find other stress relieving outlets. Instead, I’m going to share with you my favorite stress foods and why, in the hopes that the next time you’re stressed at least your tummy will be happy! Read the rest of this entry »

I think salmon is a great choice for those that are looking for a simple but great tasting seafood pasta dinner. Salmon in my opinion is the king of all fishes, for one it’s loaded with Omega-3 fatty acids which the American Heart Association recommends that people include at least two servings of fish per week, particularly fatty fish (such as salmon), in their diets plus it taste so good! So I decided to give away two of my favorite salmon dinner recipes that can serve up about two or four people at dinner. Read the rest of this entry »

OMG - please tell me you all remember Frito Lays, Funyuns! Those glorious tasting “onion rings” that are nothing more than packing peanuts molded into rings with flavor injected into them. What I would do for a bag of Funyuns right now. Read the rest of this entry »

My apartment is my own little candy shop. My roommates and I have a bowl of cookies on the kitchen table, a platter with M&M’s, starbursts and Hershey Kisses next to the TV and an over sized bowl filled with every kind of lollipop imaginable on the bookshelf. Let’s just say CVS and Shaw’s have made quite a bit of money from us this semester.
We have those mini Dum Dum Lollipops, because you can eat three for the same amount of calories as a big Dum Dum (which apparently I thought was amazing when I bought a super sized bag of them). We have Tootsie Roll Pops, and mini Tootsie Roll Pops, and we have those giant round lollipops with crazy flavors like buttered popcorn (gross!). Read the rest of this entry »

We’ve been dating for the last six months, we spend every night together, me, Ben and Jerry. There is no other brand of ice cream that I would rather spend so much quality time with. We watch TV together, do homework together, and watch movies in bed together; there is nothing Ben, Jerry and I don’t do. Read the rest of this entry »

Lots of things come in boxes: Nike SB’s, Trivial Pursuit and if you’re on a diet-your lunch. But none of these compare in both quality and taste to JELL-O’s No-Bake Desserts. JELL-O has found a way to make your life easier, whether you want Cherry Cheesecake, Home style Cheesecake, Real Cheesecake (as opposed to Fake I assume…), or Strawberry Cheesecake.
