Hurray, Doughnuts!
When it’s cold outside, nobody wants to take the time to travel in the morning to their local coffee shop to buy a dozen doughnuts, yet the craving doesn’t go away! That’s why I found an easy home-made doughnut recipe! With a pack of Pillsbury grand dinner rolls, sugar, cinnamon and oil, you can make a batch of doughnuts that rivals any large coffee chain’s assortment.
Ingredients
1 pack Pillsbury Grand Dinner Rolls
½ cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 cup oil
Heat up oil in skillet on the stove. Cut middles out of rolls and set aside for later. Place dinner rolls in skillet for 1 minute, or until bottoms are golden, then flip and leave in for a minute on the other side. Take out and place on paper towel. While still warm, dip the rolls in the sugar and cinnamon combination. Then use middle of rolls to make doughnut holes. Feel free to add frosting or sprinkles!
